Horse Behavior Revealed:

Have you ever wondered WHY horses behave the way they do, and what you can do about it? You’ll love this year’s “Horse Behavior Revealed!” presented by Alliance For Horses. This consortium of Horse Trainers is dedicated to bringing people of integrity together to reveal the value of the unwanted horse, through visionary education of horses and humans. The goal is to inform, guide, support, and advance efforts to mold unwanted equines to be reliable citizens and valued members of the equestrian community, and to create a forum through public education and exhibitions. For more information, “Like” us on Facebook, and send us a message, or e-mail. This program will take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and on some days 6 p.m.

National Day of the Cowboy and Cowgirl Celebration at the Cavalcade of Horses:

California State legislature has just passed a resolution for Californians to celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy and Cowgirl on the last Saturday of July from the year to perpetuity. There will be a performance by the California Cowgirls, Curt Pate, Cattle Dogs, Reiners, Barrel Racers, a Cowboy poet and other real cowboys to honor this day.
