The State Fair Media Center is pleased to coordinate interviews with the official spokespersons of the State Fair. These persons are the only Cal Expo & State Fair personnel authorized to provide information on the record.

Media Center Hours
The State Fair Media Center is open 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. During the Fair, hours will be extended to accommodate all media inquiries and requests. To schedule an interview or shoot, please contact the Media Center in advance by calling 916-263-3108 or emailing media@calexpo.com.
Directions to the Media Center
From Exposition Blvd, take the East Gate entrance and follow signs to the Administration Building. Enter through Gate 3 and park in the admin parking lot. Check in at the front desk or enter the Media Center side door.
Directions to Gate 12
Media can use Gate 12 during off hours or when they need to set up a live truck. All access through Gate12 must be preapproved. From Exposition Blvd, take Ethan Way to the intersection of Hurley Way. Whenever possible, a media center staff member will be on site to escort you to the designated location.
