  • Buckle your seatbelts; this is going to be one crazy train ride! Passengers board the Crazy Train, two to a seat, and after the doors close the train begins to move down the track. But this is no ordinary train ride as suddenly, the entire track starts to revolve! The train continues on upside down and then just as it recovers, the track continues revolving. The Crazy Train guarantees excitement.
     Requirements: 5 tickets, 54 inches to ride alone or with an adult.

California State Fair Gala

  • The California State Fair Gala is an elegant evening of gourmet food, auctions, entertainment and awards. It is also a night for making dreams come true. Each year, the Friends of the California State Fair Scholarship Program helps California’s most promising students achieve their goals and realize their dreams. Scholarships ranging from $250 to $5,000 are awarded to college students and graduating high school seniors who exhibit academic excellence, leadership potential, civic accomplishments and a strong sense of personal commitment to continuing education. This year the Friends of the California State Fair Scholarship Program will proudly award over $33,000 in scholarships to deserving California youth.

  • Celebrating it’s 160th anniversary this summer, California State Fair is excited to announce a free concert every night during the State Fair, July 12-28. The Toyota Concert Series offers a variety of artists including rhythm & blues, country, classic rock, Top 40 pop, Christian rock, tribute bands and a popular teen artist. All 17 nights of concerts during the State Fair are FREE with Fair admission and will be held on the Golden 1 Credit Union Stage at 8pm. Concert seating is available on a first come first served basis.
