Miller Lite Race of the Day
Every racing day the Miller Lite Race of the Day will be held and depending on the correct proposition to win the race, (even or odd numbered saddle cloth, etc) $1 beers will be sold from the official posting of the race until post time of the next race!
Track Walk
Every racing day, racing fans can gather at the winners circle area at 1:00 PM Daily, 3:00 PM on Fridays and be escorted by Cal Expo staff on to the racetrack near the finish line. Fans will be able to see, touch, smell, and taste (not really) one of the finest racing strips in the state of California. A 5-7 minute presentation related to the make up and maintenance of the racetrack will be provided along with a question and answer period. All attending guests will be able to take a small handful of the racetrack surface with them as a free souvenir at the end of the presentation in a container provided by Cal Expo. This promotion will help in our ongoing efforts to educate the general public about horse racing.
Let It Roll!
Turn $50 into a fortune! 40 (5 per racing day) lucky fairgoers will get the chance to turn a free $50 wager into as much cash as they can in the daily Let It Roll! contest. Guests can enter the daily Let It Roll! contest at the Miller Lite Grandstand Main Entrance or at the Cal Expo Racing Gate entrance once per every racing day. All are eligible to participate except Cal Expo employees. This popular promotion will be held every racing day.
Horse Racing Bingo (NEW!)
This promotion is being utilized at various tracks nationally including but not limited to Churchill Downs, Arlington Park, Louisiana Downs, Delta Downs, Finger Lakes, and Gulfstream Park. Bingo cards will be available on a first come-first served basis on each racing day. Prizes will be awarded for those who achieve a “Bingo” on their card. All Bingo scored selections will be based on Cal Expo horse races.
